Developmental Psychology in the Teaching of Civic Education

The thesis deals with the teaching of developmental psychology within the framework of Civic education. The theoretical part presents the issues of developmental psychology and didactics of social sciences, it deals with conditions for meaningful teaching of developmental psychological topics at the upper primary school, curriculum analysis, and appropriate teaching methods. In the practical part a proposal for specific teaching hours is submitted. The aim of the thesis is to create thoughtful teaching plans that develop psychological functional literacy and promote intergenerational communication skills of students. The impact of the use of digital technologies on the attention of pupils of the 1st grade of primary school

The thesis deals with the issue of the influence of the use of digital technologies on the attention of primary school pupils. The aim of the thesis was to map/find out the positive and negative consequences/impacts of the use of digital technologies on the attention of primary school pupils, to evaluate the results of this impact in favour or against their use and to propose suitable solutions/recommendations for practice. The thesis was based on the assumption that 1st grade primary school students excessively use digital technologies such as smart phones, tablets, laptops or smart watches, which has a negative effect on their attention. To achieve the set goal, the thesis was divided into a theoretical part and a practical part. For the processing of the theoretical part of the thesis, the method of literary research was used, thanks to which the current theoretical knowledge and the results of research in the given issue were summarized. A quantitative research method through a questionnaire survey and an attention test were used to process the practical part of the thesis. Legitimization of dance-movement therapy as a part of psychosocial education of younger school-age children

The aim of the bachelor research is to verify the effectiveness of selected relaxation methods on the psychosocial environment in children of younger school age and based on these findings to further discuss the legitimacy of selected relaxation methods in the dance-movement course for children of younger school age. The theoretical part presents findings from developmental psychology in the field of mental and emotional development of children. Furthermore, the theoretical part maps the current knowledge about dance-movement education and defines individual selected relaxation methods, which were implemented in a research survey with children of younger school age. The empirical part presents the results of my research using a quantitative two-phase questionnaire survey and the technique of qualitative participatory observation of children of younger school age in three areas of interest: dance, movement and gymnastics.
Influence of studium of the play on music instrument at Elementary school of Art for further student´s and graduate's orientation

The Bachelor's thesis, "The Effect of Studying a Music Instrument in the Elementary school of Art with the Life direction for Pupils and Graduates," has theoretically empirical character. The theoretical part discusses leisure issues, education in leisure time in the Czech Republic, the developmental characteristics of the school-age period and the personality of the leisure educator. The empirical section describes the effect of study playing the instrument at the Elementary school of Art in Třeboň on their pupils' leisure time, the advantages and disadvantages pupils felt during their studies, what was the motivation of pupils to study at the Elementary School of Art, the relationships pupils formed between themselves and their teacher and how pupils were influenced by the Primary Art School when choosing their future profession. The research investigation took the form of a semi-structured interview with pupils and graduates of the Elementary school of Art in Třeboň.
Individual guidance of children in planning leisure activities

This bachelor thesis deals with leisure pedagogy. It focuses on th leisure time of children of younger school age. Aim of the thesis is to find out trainers individual appoach to coaching for children at training camp. It is suggestion of training procedures at training camp focusing on individual development needs based on children's skills and abilities. The work is divided into theoretical and empirical parts. In the theoretical part, the thesis deals with the pedagogy of leisure time, motivation and interest-driven activities of a child of younger school age in the field of sports in general. In the empirical part of the work is methodology of interviews and their processing. Acording to the findings, coaches approach children individually to some extent, but rather intuitively. They don't keep any paper records on their athletes. The interviews showed the established coaching practices intuitively take into account the individual settings of young athletes and how they work with their motivation for developing sport skills and abilities. Based on this outlet, a suggestion for changes to training practises has been developer for training camp on the basis of individual need of developing children's sports skills and abilities. Social Preparedness for Kindergarten

This bachelor thesis surveys the field of social preparedness for kindergarten from the perspective of developmental psychology and the influences of the modern world in which preschool children grow up and which affect them. The thesis is partitioned into the theoretical and practical research parts. The second chapter of the theoretical part describes the preschool facilities and care possibilities for preschool children in the Czech republic with emphasis on common kindergartens. The third chapter is focused on a preschool child from the perspective of developmental psychology and environmental influences. The fourth charter introduces the term social preparedness for kindergarten. It also explains the concept of adaptation period. Its evaluation and results are used in the practical part as potential criteria for determining the social preparedness for the kindergarten. The first section of the research part is dedicated to the survey on social preparedness and how it is percieved by parents and teachers. The second section captures the observation conducted on a sample of 15 children during the adaptation period. The conclusion summarizes the results of the research. .

Criminal liability and sanctioning of youth Abstract The major topic of my rigorous thesis is Criminal liability and sanctioning of youth. Thesis is divided into four related parts and I analyse this issue especially from the view of substantive law. During periods of childhood and adolescence young people are not enough intellectually and morally mature and they do not have enough life experience. For this reason, I devote the first part of this thesis to short introduction to developmental psychology. I refer to psychological differences of young people and I describe basic specifics of childhood and adolescence as significant life periods from the developmental point of view. In the second part I introduce basic models of dealing with delinquent youth and the concept of restorative justice, which is the basis for the current Juvenile Justice Act No. 218/2003 Coll. I also provide historical overview of development of criminal justice against juveniles in the territory of the Czech Republic until today. In this part I also explain basic and the most important terms which are used in the Juvenile Justice Act. The third part of this thesis is devoted to the topic of criminal liability of juveniles. The diploma thesis deals with foster care and contacts with biological parents. The first chapter aims to the importance of family, family ties disorder and the CAN syndrome. The second chapter is focused on the substitute family care and its forms. The third chapter describes the foster care, what are the demands on the personality of the caring person, what the preparation looks like, which are the conditions and course of the foster care. The fourth chapter is focused on the child identity, contacts with biological parents and describes the process of assisted contacts.
